Desk Still Life:
This scene was my take on Ernest Shackletons desk as he planned for his famous 1914 voyage during the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration. I learned a lot about texturing in this project while tackling some particularly tricky models like the glass and coaster.
The map textures and bottle label are all projected images. I particularly enjoy the authentic hand made maps and notes that I was able to find. It adds to a higher degree of realism in the scene.
